Yuletide Lights on the Prairie

Looking for a unique event to get you into the holiday spirit? Come on out to Legacy of the Plains Museum on the first three Friday nights in December for a chance to enjoy the museum in a whole new light – literally! Museum staff and volunteers take several days in November to string up the museum’s exhibits in lights. In fact, there are so many lights, you can walk through the museum’s Main Exhibit Hall and still be able to read the exhibit labels! During the event, toys in the museum’s gift shop will be discounted, you can write letters to Santa, enjoy some Christmas coloring pages, and you can vote on the trees for the Trees Along the Trail.
