The Meadowlands by Jenifer Berge Sauter Reception

Jenifer Berge Sauter is an artist currently living in Gering, Ne. She started her life on ranch in Lisco, NE. At an early age, Berge Sauter’s family encouraged her to pursue her creative passions because of the vitality and value they saw in art. This passion for creativity thrived in open spaces and helped her hone her discipline to make art. This show is a look into Berge Sauter’s world of creation. It will meander through places she has been, memories she cherishes and the beauty she has seen. Our Main Gallery will be full of her emotions, connections and thoughts from the depths of her mind. “The Meadowlands is my very real place where my mind goes when I am painting. I seem to have categories of thought and subjects with the connecting themes being color and feeling. The different areas within this are the trees, the plants, the people, the old place, the home and the animals. All are made continually in my art practice and there is discomfort when something feels missing, so it keeps going. There are so many things I need to paint, I will never be done, and this makes me happy,” said Berge. This show will be on display until December 26th. Enjoy unraveling Berge Sauter’s mind by sitting amongst her artwork for a while.
