The West Nebraska Arts Center, with the support of the Nebraska Arts Council, the Nebraska Cultural Endowment, and the National Endowment for the Arts, are pleased to present One Hundred Western Skies by Yelena Khanevskaya. The opening reception will be Thursday, March 2nd at 5pm – 7pm. One Hundred Western Skies developed out of Khanevskaya’s daily COVID painting projects. She explored the theme of skies and sunsets. Through her period of isolation, it was way of connecting to other people close, far, and clear across the globe. There will be several sizes of paintings in acrylic and acrylic gouache. West Nebraska Arts Center will be displaying this artwork March 2 – 26, 2023. Gallery hours are Tuesday - Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m.
