Midwest Theater presents "The Rocky Horror Picture Show (21 and up only)"

The longest-running film of all time, The Rocky Horror Picture Show - based on the stage musical "The Rocky Horror Show" by Richard O'Brien - invites you to take a trip to The Frankenstein Place, a Gothic castle filled with some of the most "unconventional conventionalists" you've ever met - tap-dancing Columbia, hunchbacked faithful handyman Riff Raff and his sister Magenta, motor maniac Eddie, and cinema's most dangerous mad scientist in high heels, Dr. Frank-N-Furter!  Sweet and virginal Brad and Janet had no idea what laid in store for them when they walked into this weird household - and neither did the world, as the film went on to become and "audience participation" phenomenon complete with "call backs" (listen as the audience hurls words at the screen!), props and sing-alongs (EVERY Rocky Horror screening in a sing-along - so raise your voice and join us!).  An international phenomena The Rocky Horror Picture Show is truly a film to be experienced on the big screen.

Costume Contest:  There will be a costume contest prior to the start of the show.  So, be sure to wear your best corset and fish nets!  Prizes will be awarded!

Prop Bags:  We will have pre-made prop bags for sale the night of the show in the lobby.  The bags are also available for presale.  They will include everything you need to participate with the action on the big screen.  Cost is $7.00 per bag.  No outside props will be allowed!

Rules

• Use only props that The Midwest Theater has provided for you!
• No fighting: be respectful of others, no fist fighting, no verbal fighting.
• Dress appropriately: Dress in costume, be comfortable, have fun, but stay within legal decency laws! Those that don't follow this rule will not be allowed in the theater.
• All bags and persons are subject to search (For banned props or other banned materials)
• No on is allowed on stage
• No weapons of any kind in the theater (Guns, knives, nuclear weapons, etc.....)
• No bringing your own alcohol.  We have a bar here for your enjoyment.
• No throwing props at the screen or walls.  This could cause permanent damage.
• You must be 21 years of age or older to attend.  We will be checking id's.

Tickets:  Advance tickets will be $10 each, tickets sold at the door are $12 each.

Prop Bags:  $7.00 each and can be purchased in advance.  The price of the prop bag is not included in the ticket price.

Cash Bar:  There will be a cash bar open before the show.
