West Nebraska Arts Center, with the support of the Nebraska Arts Council, the Nebraska Cultural Endowment, and the Mid – America Arts Alliance is pleased to present the 2022 President’s Show: Icons, an exciting collection of original artworks based on a theme. The theme is icons chosen by Mary Hunt, West Nebraska Arts Center Board President. This is a judged group show open to all media and artistic styles. This show is also sponsored by Tri – State Sprinkler System LLC in loving memory of Anthony Coffey Jr. (TJ). Icon is a person or thing regarded as worthy of great respect. Your interpretation of the definition maybe someone or something that has a profound effect on your life. They can also be humorous or elicit other feelings. Icons can also be symbols for applications on computers. The opening night for this exhibit is Thursday, June 30th, with a reception from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. We will serve hors d’ oeuvres and wine. Everyone is invited to come and enjoy.
