DESCRIPTION:The West Nebraska Arts Center\, with the support of the Nebraska Arts Council\, the Nebraska Cultural Endowment\, National Endowment for the Arts and Charlotte Ingram is pleased to present Orchestrated Stability by Marqel Wilson in the Main Gallery. The reception is on Thursday\, December 5th 5pm   7pm. This is a free event and open to the public. We will serve refreshments and appetizers for all who attend. Marqel Wilson will be joining us from Alabama. He is a new artist that wants to show his personal growth as an artist while also showcasing emotions he has experienced. He also wants to display the growth of his artistic expression through different mediums. Wilson will be presenting artwork done in graphite\, charcoal\, acrylic\, soft pastels\, oil pastels\, and color pencil. If you are looking for a unique gift for the holiday season\, this show might provide you with a great solution. We will also be having our holiday show in the Bronson Gallery. Please come help us welcome our new show and see some holiday treasures. This show will be on display December 5   29\, 2024. Gallery hours are Tuesday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. We will be closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
