DESCRIPTION:THE COMMUNITY IS INVITED TO HELP CELEBRATE 70 YEARS OF ENTERTAINMENT IN THE VALLEY AT THE HISTORIC MIDWEST THEATER!\n\n\n\nFriends of the Midwest Theater Board of Directors would like to invite the community to join us for the 70th Anniversary Celebration of the Midwest Theater.  We will be celebrating all week long May 3rd - May 7th\, 2016 with a number of great community events.\n\n\n\nToday the Midwest Theater host the Scottsbluff Schools Orchestra & Scottsbluff Sprouts when they hold their Spring Concert with performances by over 260 local string students under the direction of Mrs. Ashley Hillman.  There are two performances one at 6:00 p.m. featuring teh Sprouts and 6th\, 7th\, and 8th from Bluffs Middle School and another at 7:45 p.m. featuring the Scottsbluff 5th grade and High School Orchestra Students.\n\n\n\nPatrons wishing to attend both performances will need to purchase tickets to both.\n\n\n\nFunds raised from these concerts will support the purchase of new string instruments for the Scottsbluff School Orchestra Program.
