DESCRIPTION:Friends of the Midwest Theater has been awarded a Nebraska Touring Program Grant by the Nebraska Arts Council to support the upcoming performance and residency activities with the Omaha Symphony.\n\n\n\nNebraska Arts Council's Executive Director\, Suzanne Wise\, commended the Midwest Theater for its programs\, noting that "Friends of the Midwest Theater does and outstanding job of providing arts activities in our region.  It is through fine organizations like this that Nebraska's children receive a better education in the arts\, and the quality of life is improved for all Nebraskans."\n\n\n\nMarch 9ths performance will be featuring the Scottsbluff Sprouts & Bluffs Middle School Orchestra students and March 10ths performance will be featuring Scottsbluff High School Orchestra students.
