SUMMARY:Friends of the Library hosts "Book Sale"
DESCRIPTION:Friends of the Lied Scottsbluff Public Library will host its annual used book sale.  Book bags and sacks will also be on sale.  The sale will coincide with National Friends of the Library Week.\n\n\n\nThe sale is open to the public on Saturday & Sunday while Friday evening will be a Friends-Only sale.  Current and new Friends are welcome to shop Friday evening.  People can pay their Friends' dues at the door and then begin shopping.\n\n\n\nThe sale will be open to the public on Saturday and Sunday.  Sunday will be a Buck a Bag shopping spree with shoppers paying only $1 for all the books they can stuff in a bag (grocery bad size).  Shoppers are encouraged to bring their own bags or reusable shopping bags.\n\n\n\nBooks offered will include those weeded from the library collection as well as items donated by community patrons for the sale -- books\, videos\, audio books and more.  A special bonus this year will be Shirley Flack's donated collection which will include many great titles and \, of course\, mysteries.\n\n\n\nProceeds from the sale go to the Library Foundation and have been used to purchase books and equipment\, provided programming and to fund various library projects.
