DESCRIPTION:Soroptimist International of Scottsbluff County\, in partnership with Platte Valley Companies\, KNEB\, Star-Herald and Gering Citizen\, present the return of Grammy-nominated Blinddog Smokin'\, live at Five Rocks Amphitheater.\n\n\n\nThe concert is a fundraiser for the Soroptimist grant program that funds local organizations that improve the lives of women and children in the Panhandle.  Last year\, area Soroptimist members gave $12\,000 in grant monies to local service organizations.\n\n\n\nGates will open at 6 p.m. for food and spirits provided by Steel Grill.  Mac's Gourmet BBQ will also provide food\, and non-alcoholic beverages.  A pre-show has been added this year\, with Blinddog Smokin' front man and storyteller Carl Gustafson and guest performing at 6:30 p.m.  The Blinddogs will take the stage at 7:30 p.m.\n\n\n\nTickets are $20 in advance\, $25 at the gate\, available for purchase at Platte Valley Companies (Circle Drive and Gering locations)\, KNEB Radio\, Star-Herald\, ABC Nursery\, Gering Citizen\, and from individual Soroptimist members.
