"THE BUDDY HOLLY STORY" takes place in Lubbock, Texas, Clovis, New Mexico, New York and Clear Lake, Iowa, between January 1956 and February 1959. It is the story of Buddy Holly and his rise to the top of the Rock & Roll world. With the support of local radio DJ, Hipockets Duncan, Buddy and his two friends form a Country & Western band. Buddy Holly & the Crickets begin to carve out a career in music that leads them churning out Rock & Roll hits. Suddenly they are the hottest act in the country and the band embarks on a national tour featuring Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and the Big Bopper. Buddy's brief life is immortalized in this dynamic and heart-rending stage show. It's a celebration of the man, his music and life that catches a unique mixture of innocence, determination, humor and charm featuring songs such as "Peggy Sue", "That'll Be The Day", "Why Do Fools Fall In Love", "Chantilly Lace", "LaBamba" and "Rave On" and the rest will just be Rock 'n' Roll.
