Join Panhandle Business & Professional Women for their monthly meeting, which will feature a special session on the life and work of Willa Cather. Guest speakers Ashley Olson of the Willa Cather Foundation and Emily Rau of the Willa Cather Archive will share their experiences working for organizations that seek to preserve and promote a Nebraska-raised woman writer, connecting those stories to Cather's beloved novel My Ántonia. This is a great opportunity to learn more about Cather and about a vibrant women's organization in Scottsbluff. The event, open to the public, includes lunch and a complimentary copy of My Ántonia for $10. Purchase tickets at panhandlebpw.com by Aug. 3.
