The Panhandle Humane Society is hosting a Pet Health Fair. The Eastern Wyoming College Vet Tech students from Torrington, as well as Dr. Somer Pieper of Mitchell Valley Animal Hospital, will be on hand to administer vaccinations.
Rabies and dog/cat distemper will be available for $10 each, and Dog and Cat City Licenses will be available for $6.00 for pets who are spayed/neutered (must have proof of a current Rabies vaccination) and $11.00 for those who aren't. Microchips will be available for $25 each. If you brought your animal last year to be vaccinated, they will not need a rabies vaccine this year, but will again next year, as it is a 2 year vaccine.
We are offering a photo booth for pictures of your pet by local photographer Tiffany Schank. Photos will be available for a fee with a portion of the proceeds donated to the Panhandle Humane Society.
All pet owners are invited to come and participate in this Health Fair.
We ask that all cats be in a carrier, and all dogs on a leash, for their safety and those who attend. Though we hope to serve all animals that attend, there is a limited supply and time. These low cost vaccinations will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. Our goal is to reach out to those that might not otherwise be able to vaccinate their pet due to finanical restraints.
